We had the best arrival experience last year
We rolled in right around noon when things were opening up and somehow managed to just drive through the first gate, where there were absolutely no staff (it was the entrance the year before).
We drove right out into the field and were confused before finally seeing the line-up at the second gate and laughing. We parked right beside a big party bus that had done the same thing the night before the festival at 4am and proceeded to quickly set up all of our tents and unpack our stuff so that no one had the heart to tell us to move

I remember a stuffed dog. I can't remember if that was the part bus we were beside or closeby. Ours was a bunch of people from around Eugene, OR who mostly turned out to be awesome. We were right beside one of the RVs of Bro-tastic fellas who would get up every morning and do push-ups/rub each other with oil.
They turned out to be from Calgary and embarrassed me.

Yeah they were absolutely outstanding people- I introduced all of them to beer darts and had done 4 costume changes and was passed out drunk in my tent by 4pm. Granted I'd done 7 hours of our 10 hour overnight drive without sleeping.

I was out by about 3pm after heckling the lineup for a solid hour and a half and wandering aimlessly while pounding 8-9 beers after being awake for nearly 30hrs straight. Woke up at 6ish and felt like the last day and a half were all a crazy dream.

I know the 30 hour feeling, we had just come from AZ and didn't get in until 9ish on Friday night. I was so fucking tired, but still too excited to sleep, visions of BSS and The National, and Deadmau5 kept me up.

So if we were to show up there Thursday afternoon, is there a place where we can set up a tent free for the night? My bus either gets me there a day early, or I take the next one for late afternoon on Friday.
