No; I am pretty sure that once you go in, you can't come out.

Nah, Premier was sold out long ago. You're stuck in "regular" camping unless you can buy Premier passes from someone else.

Not sure about the showers.
Once you are in the fest, you are in for good. If you leave to go back to the campground you are not allowed to re-enter.

Where is this 'Premier' camping that everyone keeps referring to - is it at Wildhorse Campgrounds, or another grounds? If so - can someone let me know the website or name of grounds ....
Thanks very much for your help!

Kerrber2, says "Don't expect to sleep earlier than the end of the last show and 6 is the latest to sleep in."
What does this mean 6 is the latest to sleep in? 6 am? Why so early?
When is the end of the last show? When does the first show of the day begin?
Thanks!

That sucks about re-entry! I guess you probably don't see many people with kids there then. I was hoping to take my 2 year old, but it is sounding more and more like a bad idea.

You are not searched at all while entering the campground. Safe to bring whatever you want...

So, hopefully somebody can help me out with this scenario:
2 friends and I get a ride from someone to the Gorge, from there, we split off to separate camping on our own, sans car. What would a person in this situation do? Would we have to purchase a camping ticket for our car-less selves? Do we, in fact, need to be tied to a car to even camp there?

Do you guys know what the shower situation is like at the normal camping? Any plug ins at all?

The shower situation is pretty rustic in normal camping and I don't think there are any plug-ins so don't bother bringing your hair dryer. Last year there was a huge (2 hour+) line up for the showers in the morning so I recommend having a shower after the show is over.
