unless i'm an idiot (and that's entirely possible) i'm thinking...
you tie your hair back, strip down to a black bikini, hang a black bag on something - flag pole-bus-whatever, put water into a black bag, the sun then heats the black bag, then you give yourself a warm plastic bag shower... all with a great big smile.

science.

This sounds like a sexual innuendo of the worst variety

I don't know the campground at all.. but wouldn't your neighbors be kind of pissed if you were dumping large amounts of water on the ground?? Or does it just dry right up?

One of these years, I'll find a way to turn on the giant sprinklers and give showers to everyone!

At the Phish concert there was a guy that climbed up on one of the massive irrigation sprinklers and was hanging upside down from it. He was all fried out and the security was trying to coax him down. It was like a negotiation scene from a movie.

How far of a walk is it to the river? Are you able to walk down? Is it part of the campsite?

You can not walk to the river from the campgound. The campground does not extend that far. If you want to got to the river, you need to drive about 5 miles to the little town below. There are places down there where you can swim. That is the easiest way to get there. Then you can stop at the little grocery store and pick up supplies too.

So when I was at Coachella this year scoping out the campgrounds, I discovered a great contraption that people have had to go along with the solar shower bag.

Here's a great shelter I found on Amazon for about 40 bucks shipped:

I build my own enclosure on the side of my trailer. That way the people around me can use it. If you dig a small hole the water gets sucked up by the earth really quickly. I have over 200 gallons of water available and I haven't flooded my neighbors out.

We have an RV with a spacious shower we would have no problem letting our neighbors use ours.
