When I try to buy from ticketmaster, it says 'Tickets not available'.
What gives?
I'm talking about regular camping, not Premier.
Thanks.

to the best of my knowledge, general camping never sells out. If you can't get it on Ticketmaster, oh well. You will have to pay for your camping pass upon arrival. The gorge is in the middle of nothing, I have not yet heard of someone showing up for camping and getting turned away.

They turned me away from the general campground last year on saturday. I even had a ticket, they said it was full and tough luck

if you want any shot at getting a campsite, show up in the early afternoon on friday, otherwise you might be out of luck.

Wait, what was your other option? I'm sorry if you got screwed, but this sounds made up. The overflow camping is virtually endless. That is like showing up to a concert with a ticket, and them saying it is too full, and to go home.
Not to say I don't believe you, but they must have given you an alternative as a paying customer?

Standard camping is back on sale! and no one will be turned away at the gate because they extended the overflow spaces.

I personally don't care if you believe me but that is what happened. They eventually offered me an "upgrade" to the "sold out" premier campground after much arguing, not for free mind you I still had to pay the difference. Then they proceeded to direct me into the regular campground anyway.
