Has anyone done it? How is it compared to normal camping? The website says there are special events for premier campers. Anyone know what kind of events they are?

well it depends do you need a good nights rest or can you wing it and deal with the partying till five a.m. do you enjoy showers and cleaner facilities and a shuttle to the venue those are all the advantages of premier disadvantages are that....er i guess if you like the larger partys then that's a minus in premier since most of the partying is generally low key as for special events they are orgies hourly orgies

I'm also thinking of premier camping this year. Last year I did general. How was your premier camping experience?

Is the premier camping area far from general camping?

cripes people, just go to wildhorse. you pay less than the general campground price and get the same amenities as the premium campground. if you insist on staying at the gorge campground, premium/general are pretty much right next to eachother, with premium being closer to the venue.

We did premier in 2007 and rather liked it. We liked being able to wake up a take a shower and to not use a honeybucket. I will look into Wildhorse, though. How are they about partying into the wee hours?

The premium campground is actually further from from the venue than the general camping, but there are air conditioned shuttles that take you to/from the venue.

Not that it even matters - the Premium Camping option seemed to be sold out as of this morning.

Premier camping is not sold out. But I do want to know if you can walk from premier to the regular camp grounds?
My friends are going to camp at the regular camping, but my friend and I are debating getting premier. Before we buy the tickets, we want to make sure that we can still party with them and make it back.

hey, i was wondering how big the premier camping area is that we are paying for. also, is the $160 camping pass per car or per site?
we all can't fit into one car so we are taking two. does this mean we should have bought two premier passes or will one camping site be okay for two cars plus the tents, etc?

they allow RVs in the premier sites, so i don't see any reason why they wouldn't allow two cars (which would probably take up less space if parked back-to-back).

They do charge by car, and also there is a max of four people in a campsite either way (or pay extra for those extra people is an option I believe)
