Am I being trolled? I didn't delete her account (until after that post; bye-bye blerg); I did delete her thread, but it was an accident -- she reported my post in which I indicated that terrace camping is only for rich assholes (still true) and in trying to Dr. Garbanzoure out how to respond to and then archive the reported post to get rid of the REPORTED POST box on my screen, I must have hit the wrong button because there it went.

I have no fucking idea what's going on. Blerg, assuming you're still reading this: go fuck a hat.

My first year going, found these boards (a great resource btw) and am really not sure what I have stumbled upon. On one side its a great resource, the other seems to be the private message board of a few interesting people.

I'd say you're wrong. But it is certainly true that I don't care. If someone is going to act like that with all of five posts under their belt, they can take a mandatory hike courtesy of your dear ol' Horned Gramma.

For the sake of argument, crowell; how EXACTLY did I cross the line? My first post in that thread was entirely well-intentioned. I was NOT calling her an asshole, I was saying that terrace camping is for assholes and she made the inference herself. Considering that -- according to her original post -- she didn't know anything about terrace camping, it seemed reasonable to assume that she didn't know a.) how much it actually costs and b.) what a tremendous waste of money it is. I was trying to be helpful; she's the one who took it to the mattresses.

Once she started barking at me, there was no more line to cross.

I didn't go after her AT ALL. She asked about terrace, I gave her my opinion of terrace, and she freaked the fuck out. After that: I don't give a fuck who she is or what she is talking about -- if she is going to get in my face I will talk to her just exactly as I would talk to anyone else who speaks to me that way.
