Ok, sorry for being so stupid... but I've been reading all thru the posts and I still don't get the booze issue. So, can I get as much alcohol as I want into my car, therefore into my campsite? And, everyday when going to the concerts (I guess to the area where the concerts are at) I can take a backpack with me... will they check to see if I have water and only water there? What about ice? can I take ice? Other liquids? orange juice? food? Thanks for answering... and sorry for having to ask all of these questions... this year will be my first time! So stokeddddd

To answer your first question, yes, as long as you are of age you can bring all the booze you like in to camp.
As for your second:
Quote: What Can We Do?
You can have fun You can sing You can smile You can bring a disposable camera You can bring a small camera with no zoom, lens or flash You can bring a stroller (if you have small children) You can bring in one 20-oz., factory sealed bottle of water You can bring a small bag or backpack You can bring in a small (1 gallon), clear bag of snacks.
What Can’ t We Bring In?
Alcohol Any beverages, other than one 20-oz., factory sealed bottle of water Glass bottles or cans Zoom lens cameras Coolers or large bags Lawn chairs Illegal substances Laser pointers Animals (except service animals) Recording devices (audio or video) Weapons PLEASE NOTE: RULES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE

Is this for real? I mean, really *only* one 20-oz bottle of water allowed? That's not very much water for the day.... do they have free water in the concert area?

It's a concert venue. They plan to make money from you. There are also a few filling stations around.

I've never had a problem bringing more than one sealed water bottles, last year I had 4-5 each day, plus an empty nalgene container...
Bring all the food you want as long as it is a clear ziplock or sealed...

Just make sure you're drinking in your campsite and not out on one of the trails or roads. I've seen several people get shit from the grounds staff and even the cops in some cases, although cops don't roam the campground much at all. They can kick you out for public intoxication but I'm not sure how common that is.
The thoroughness of the search they do before letting you into the venue varies each day. Last year they basically did a 5 second search through bags on the first day, but the rest of the weekend they were more thorough. It doesn't take much creativity to sneak booze into the venue, women have an advantage because they can put ziploc baggies full of alcohol into their bras, but it isn't a lot harder for guys.

So, I take it they don't do strip or cavity searches.

This is my second year going to Sasquatch, but last year I arrived on a Saturday in overflow parking. On friday when arriving to the campground, Will they search my car for any alcohol? Im underaged, last year didn't seem to be a problem and they didn't even look in my car. Do they search cars when you get there???

Only if you look suspicious. If you look very under aged I would suggest wearing clothes that make you appear older than you are. If you have any chest hair yet I would advise that you make it visible. Ditch any horned rimmed glasses and talk in a deep voice. Also, since they will do a general "peak" into your car I would throw some 'Men's Health' magazines in the back, some tax returns, a life insurance brochure, maybe even put a picture of a baby on your driver side visor like it is your own kid, or something. The only thing they have to go on regarding searches are appearances, no lie, so do it up and you'll be good.
