Hi! We're looking to arrive late Saturday afternoon. Is this a problem? I assume we'll be sent to overflow parking, but is there a chance that we could get turned away?
Was also wondering ...
- Can you leave the grounds with your car during the day?
- Is it possible to walk from the campground to the river below or anywhere else?

You will nto be turned away, but you'll probably end up in overflow.

As far as I know, you can only leave the grounds and expect to be let back in if you have premier camping. If you want to get to the river, you'd have to drive, and a couple places close by on the river are Wanapum and Vantage.
