I'm worried about the walk too, but not enough to arrive late. I want in on the main camping action! Plus, as someone mentioned above, it's hard to judge distances when you're drunk.

At Sasquatch distance is measured in beers. For example, the venue is 2 beers from where I was camped last year. 3 if someone had to stop and pee or if the line was big.

So in other words, the longer the walk, the better.

I'll never understand people's aversion to that walk. You're in the prime of your life, you are in one of the most beautiful places in the world, you can walk around with an open container, and more likely than not it is a beautiful day. Just fucking enjoy it already.

Going into Sasquatch for the first time last year was a good learning experience. Friday: walk 45 minutes complaining about how sober I was and watching thousands of other people stumbling around with smiles on their faces. Saturday, Sunday, Monday I don't remember the walk.

That grass was AWFUL in overflow last year. I assumed that every campground at the gorge had the same tall grass but apparently it was just in overflow.

Haha, I'm not going to lie - all the photos people have posted of Wildhorse on here make it look amazing.

If you care about the grass --- if you even notice the grass -- you are not drunk enough.

Agree to disagree. I spent last year's Sasquatch in a dream-like haze of alcohol, yakisoba noodles, and other recreational delights and if there's one thing I remember about camping last year aside from scorching morning sun and fowl honey buckets, it was that awful. fucking. grass.

But meh. Even if I got stuck in overflow again this year I'd still be at Sasquatch having the time of my life.
