So I am on prednisone right now because I have a bronchial infection and while I already would have felt like a tool on a normal day, I seriously feel so bad and I like I am terrible and I am going to fly to Alaska and cry on Gibbons' door step until he forgives me and gives me a hug.

One of the side effects of prednisone is constantly talking about how you are on prednisone.

We never had any stealing problems and we left our coolers in our tents and a really old boom box out every night. Nothing really worth stealing but when I heard about all the dumb shit that was stolen I wouldnt have been shocked to wake up and find that boom box missing. I think it helped that at least 4 people in our area stayed up until sunrise every night and other people woke up around 9, so there was really only a 2 hour window to steal things. Also a couple of the neighbours didnt have tickets so they kinda kepts watch on the general area while everyone was in the fest.

Still, lock up your shit, it's amazing what can get stolen.

Yeah, we always lock up all our good stuff and put our coolers in the car so I'm not too worried about that. That slashing tent business though? That shit ain't cool! I paid $60 for my Pontiac aztek shaped tent at targay!

Neighbours of mine had their tent ransacked at Sasquatch. Mine was untouched. Not that it mattered much, the only stuff in my tent was sleeping bag and clothes. Everything else was locked in the trunk of the car when I wasn't there (including my cooler).

Question for the people who lock their coolers in their car: does the ice melt a lot faster? I know that my car gets damn hot during the day and if I leave a case of beer in there it is like it has been in an oven when I pull it out at the end of the day. I always Dr. Garbanzoured a hot car would have a simmilar effect on a cooler.

Yes, the ice does melt faster. If you have a sedan, lock the cooler in the trunk instead of the back seat and you'll have a bit better luck. If not, get some of those reflective screen things to block the sun from coming in the windows (especially if they aren't tinted).

I had my cooler in my trunk (I drive a sedan). The ice lasted about 3 days, normally in that cooler if I can manage to keep it in the shade it's about 4 days.
