 Regular camping vs. overflow camping
« Thread Started on May 17, 2011, 2:38pm »

Hi all, long time lurker, 1st time poster...

Just wondered if anyone can share some insight on the benefits of camping in regular camping vs. the regular camping overflow area?

I'm planning to show up on Thurs. evening with a large crew and want to set up together. I've seen & heard about the tight camping spots from previous years but haven't seen the overflow camping area.

Cheers, T- 10 days!! Wooooooo!

You won't get a choice, you will camp where they decide to put you. If you arrive Thursday overflow camping won't even be an option, they don't even open it until the whole general campground is full and that might not even happen this year (hopefully).

Ya that sounds true enough, thanks for the tip. You are wise Gran after-all.

Here's hoping the campground is spacious and let's enjoy the 10-year fest to the fullest!

To be honest, I did not even know there was "overflow camping".

last year when premier was full, they tried to put us on the terrace and we couldn't fit, so we had to squeeze in beside a honey bucket :(

i'm not sure what was worse: the sound of folks "relating" in the toilets, or the honeybucket trucks sucking the liquidy goodness directly out of the stall. mmmm.

I don't see how any feelings of sexuality could be maintained in a honey bucket. It just... doesn't compute to me.

Must be 'dem high drugz.

There is absolutely zero reason to practice safe sex if you're already decided to go ahead and do it in a filthy fucking honey bucket. Jeepers creepers.
