I'm sure if you had a Friday pass you could camp the whole weekend, but I dont think they will let you in on thursday with a saturday pass.
I dont really get the point of camping the whole time without going to the fest. I love the camping aspect of the whole thing, but if it wasnt for the actual festival I would think hanging out in the more or less empty campground while everyone is seeing bands would be boring as hell.

Nice one, but it is just fat fingers, slight dislexia, and a laptop.

If you a one day pass to any of the days, you can stay until the end of the festival. I called Livenation last week and spoke with a supervisor and they assured me that was the rules this year.

If you have a Saturday and Sunday pass I doubt they will let you in Thursday as that is a full 2 days before you will actually attend the fest. I head from someone who contacted livenation that they will allow you in 1 day before your day pass (so Friday if you have Saturday) and once you are in there is basically no way for them to tell who doesnt have a Monday pass so you should be fine once you are in. I wouldnt risk it, just come Friday.

Look above. Mase check with Live Nation.
Having said that, security at the campground make up their rules. I hope whoever he spoke to will get the answers to the staff on hand.

I specifically had a manager tell me the rules pertaining to camping this year. Because your ticket includes camping and there is no one allowed in the campground unless they have a ticket. Your one day pass gives you permission to stay for the duration of the festival

You'd think this would be a thing that you'd double check. You know, just in case? Because they can't really find single-day ticket holders in the campground and run them out, but they sure as hell CAN keep you from entering the campground if your single-day ticket is for two days into the future from the day you arrive.
If that's the rules and you were either mis-informed or just didn't ask the right question, I don't think telling the yellowshirts at the gates that "A manager told me so!" is going to mean very much.

Where does it say that a one day ticket is NOT good for the duration of the festival?

Where does it say that you should be extra sure that you have a place to stay when you're driving hundreds of miles away from home out into the middle of nowhere? I can't find it anywhere on my ticket. Must not be important.

That's why I called and asked. If it not a rule, how can they enforce if it doesn's exist?
