Ha man I've been agreeing with you all day HG- when Mase talks about getting together with people from here to drink I get totally sketched out- someone who talks about guns and ripping the life out of people isn't someone I want to get drunk with at all...

And I'm sure your tickets are real and you'll have a great time- I have nothing to be jealous of- I'm exactly where I want to be in my life- I don't have an RV full of hookers and blow, mind you, or VIP tickets- but that's not what sasquatch is about and I wouldn't want anything that separates me from the unwashed masses.

You guys are crazy. Mase has VIP tickets -- he's clearly got cash. I am 100% pursuing him and talking him into buying me beer.

If they allowed in and out privileges could you imagine the bottleneck at the gates? Usually in the early afternoon you wait in a line for 45 minutes to get your bag checked and let in. That wait would only grow and carry into the evening if people came and went as they pleased.

There would be no bottle neck if everyone could go in when they want and exit when they want instead of all being herded like cattle at the same times. As I already mentioned, I did not invent this idea, other festivals much larger and even smaller allow ins and outs, especially since for the most part nearly everyone is camping onsite. It is not like it increases vehicle traffic, just foot traffic going back and forth from and to the event. I really do not think it would be that big a deal for security unless every one was going back to camp for some meth or something and acting like assholes after. Again, just my opinion but it does blow big time.

Even if they had in and outs I would never use it. The walk from the fest to campground and back is easily 45 minutes, add to that the wait to get back in, and you do whatever you want to do at the campground, thats probably 2 hours out of the fest minimum to do what, exactly? Grab a few snacks and shotgun a beer or 2? Why does everyone feel such a need to go back anyway?

I am old and not as thin as I should be and it only takes me about 15 minutes to walk each way but again that should be my option if I want to do it or not. There are some time slots that I just don't have anyone I want to see and I should be able to hang in my camping spot if I want to. I guess my biggest issue is that we are all for the most part camping on site. It is not like we are going miles away during the day, but just over the hill should really be a non-issue for paying festival goers. I am done whining about it as that accomplishes nothing, but I still think it is a BS rule.

Seriously, I don't know who needs forty-five fucking minutes to walk between the campground and the venue.

I remember reading something about a different class of VIP tickets. Something that was only offered to people with Gorge season tickets or something like that. They don't come with all the normal VIP benefits (the ones that come with the tickets that cost thousands of dollars) but there are some. I think they include your own private viewing box at the main stage. The boxes that are behind the standing area and in front of the hill. Maybe this is what mase has? Does anyone know what I'm talking about???

I think these are the VIP Box seats. I have seen quite a few on Craigslist and yes they are behind what is usually reserved seating at the mainstage at normal shows.

That was round trip. It all depends on where in the campground you are to. Its probably a 5-10 minute walk from the far end of the campground to the entrance depending on the size of your group and how drunk everyone is.

As a general rule the group only moves as fast as the slowest member.

Oh, I think it could be done, but it would require a significant overhaul to the way the gorge and campsite are operated.
