I got really drunk on sunday and forgot to eat anything besides some pieces of a blueberry muffin and some pineapple before I went in the venue. At around 5pm I realized I made a huge mistake. I did not bring any cash inside either so those soyjoy bars saved my life.

I was also really drunk on Monday morning (from the night before) and my friend had bought himself a breakfast burrito and tried to share it with me but I for some reason through it on the ground, in the dirt, and it was only half eaten. I did that to myself, my fault, I really wanted that freakin burrito when I woke up sober a few hours later. Damn it all. SO I ate a freakin Soyjoy bar.

I ventured down the street by myself this eve to have some asian fusion. Big let down. The Gen Tso's Chicken was a boring and sad excuse for being spicy. I was REALLY wanting something spicy. The Sriracha didn't work, either.
Life is so rough.

I was at Costco the other day and saw something that could be worthwhile to look into for Sasquatch.
It was a box of Military rations. Pre-packaged balanced meals in self-heating bags. Like $50 for 3 days worth of meals I think. Don't have to pack a camp stove, don't have to worry about a food cooler, etc. They would pack neatly into a bag to head down to the festival, and $50 is fucking cheap when you think about $9 for chicken strips or whatever.
I'm not saying I'm going to do it, but it could be the answer for someone looking to 'squatch on the cheap next year. Or someone who is flying in.

They taste AWFUL. my friend bought those when we went camping a while back and they were like the worst thing ever. No amount of salt or pepper could help those pouches of ick.

I guess it all depends which ones you get. I've got a few friends in the army and they say some of them are pretty decent. They could just be used to them though...

$50 for three days worth of food is actually pretty expensive. I don't think I've spent that much on food at Sasquatch, and what I eat usually tastes really good (cheddar dogs).
