You guys have the basic "college bro" Dr. Garbanzoured out. But there is another culprit that you may want to keep your eyes out for. The dreaded "Lax Bro"
For those of you who are not familar with the term. I.E. with you are not from new england, maryland, and new york. Much like jersey shore style guito d-bags they are starting to move west from the north east.
Here are some definitions of it if you do not understand the underlying sub-culture of said "Lax Bro"
1: Any male individual who plays (or assosiciates those who play) lacrosse. They wear hats (fitted, trucker, college lax hats), bright colors, and have long hair. Their vocabulary consists of, but is not limited to: word, bro, gnarly, stoked, flow, etc.
Sam:Yo look at those shorts, their soo bro! Kevin: Yeah, they're almost too bro! Sam: You can't be too bro, bro!
2: The lax bro uniform, or dress code guidelines are as follows: 1) Headwear: Trucker hats, backwards college hats, goofy winter hats, (ie puff balls and ear flaps) 2) Hair: the longer the better, the wavier the better (wavy lettuce out the backside of helmet or cap) 3) Shirts: Polos, youth league T's, Pinnies, or Skins (preferably in bright pink) popped collars of course.. 4) Shorts: Plaid/Madras, seersucker, long team shorts 5) Footwear: Rainbow, Reefs, Turf shoes with high black socks 6) Accessories: hemp bracelets/necklace, shooting string or sidewall lace bracelets, Ray-ban, Arnetts, or Oakley shades, Lax themed tattoos (ie crossed sticks on calf) My brother Eric, also known as "MEAT" is a sweet lax bro. He's been drinking lots of Keystone light in his sweet Ursinus hat, blonde hair, sweet lax pinney, Madras, and Rainbows.

It seemed like a good idea at the time.... |

There's always a certain percentage of people that do this in any part of society. It's just way too easy to get away with it on a message board. Just lurk these forums for a short time and you can find a couple people that go out of their way to verbally attack people.

Does anyone know how much beer you can bring from Canada across the border into the US? I have been researching this for a LONG time and can't find a definite answer.
I think I have narrowed it down to 24 cans/bottles if I am in the US for more than 48 hours. I just want to know if anyone has had experience for this, cause I know I will need more than 24! I might have to pay duty if I'm bringing all this beer, so I am also wondering if anyone knows a general rule of thumb for calculating duty on Beer.
And to contribute to this thread:
Camp cooking is awesome (although easier with a fire). I'm bringing a gas stove and some pans to cook bacon, eggs, maple baked beans and toast every morning. Easy as shit to make and will cure a hangover! Who doesn't like bacon?! (I'm so Canadian sometimes, it hurts)
I'm also gonna cook up some chicken and toss it in a bowl of noodles, maybe saute some garlic and toss it with pasta. Damn, that will be tasting amazing when drunk at 3am.
Lunches are really only the thing I'm struggling with. Sandwiches, Powerbars, apples, water. That's what I am going with!

Why would you want to bring expensive Canadian beer with you when there are so many awesome and cheaper choices in the US?
The rule is in fact 24, but I suggest you save yourself some cash and bring 0...
