It just bothers me that this has become their mission on the forum. I am on other forums and issues of multiple posts on one topic are usually dealt with quickly with a simple link to the correct thread and a lock on the erroneous thread by a moderator.

all i am saying is that if there is a post that shouldn't have been posted in the first place, it would be a much better use of time to direct a newbie to the correct post and be done with it. Doesn't have to be a moderator, could be the best/most active posters too!

And I usually love reading what you post, it just seems like Peter gibbons has been a catalyst to make everyone even a little more cruel to keep up. He has brought a new level of belittling and articulating how stupid someone is with extremely well thought out and cited bashings and I think it is going to discourage all posters if everyone tries to follow suit.

At this point, noob has 2 options:
1. Let the thread die and post his questions in the proper thread.
2. poop the thread by asking another redundant question
Noob chooses the belt sander and is called out.

But seriously, GIBBOOOOONS is exactly right. the OP was directed to the appropriate area and he seemed to take things in stride and also not just totally back down or freak out. People gave their opinions about the situation. All in all this thread is pretty tame compared to others I have seen. And would you rather have answers that were not thought out and well articulated?

I don't think BusItOut has any ability to discern what constitutes a good time. The dude wants it ALL on his bus! It's like the guy that passes a fire dancer and stays for the whole afternoon and then sticks around to get their autograph.

When that dude started talking about his band playing in the camp ground I immediately thought 1) You must be 13 yrs old, 2) You're not even going to the fest??? 3) Fuck off. I had me some real cringes while reading those stupid posts. BusMan, it's one thing to get a group of people together who are ALREADY AT THE GORGE and start jamming and seeing where it all ends up, but who gives a fuck to put out any effort into making this miracle show happen! I'm sure we are all of us just DYING for the sweet sweetness of dudes from anywhere coming to grace us with some type of music. Garbage, pure garbage.
