So, the burning question on everyone who missed out on buying a ticket's mind that I have talked to is: is there any way I could just get in and buy some tickets in the camping area LIKE THE LAST TEN YEARS?! I am really hoping that there is because a lot of good Sasquatchers will not be adding to our fun if they can't. Any good ideas?
P.S. Buying tickets from some asshole scalper is not the kind of answer I hope to hear.

I have been doing a lot of research this year.. more research than I have done in previous years, and from what I read, I think they might be streaming people into the campground differently this year because I read something about going through the parking lot and there being a half an hour waiting area for friends but you get kicked out after half an hour... sooooooooooooo.. it almost looks more like they will be more careful.
That being said, there is going to be a lot of people getting to the campground at the same time... so who knows...
I must say, I like where they had us enter last year.. it was nice to come in from that side. I was talking with emptyfox about this too and I was wondering if there might be MORE cars this year because camping is included. I knew people who porpoisely squeezed 4 people into a vehicle because then they didn't have to pay extra, and this year, since camping is included, people won't have to cram in their cars as tightly... we'll see how it goes, but I am already stressing out a bit.

We might as well all bring our own buses this year with the way they took away all of the incentive to carpool (other than fuel costs and good company) I've said it befor and I'll say it again, I hope Honda provided a whole shit load of those carbon credits that live nation brags about!

Obviously I can't say for sure, but every year they tweak how camping works, and every year it seems like their "best laid plans" ultimately fall apart. A few years ago they offered different camping passes for people who wanted to show up on different days. That didn't take. Then they made you buy a weekend long pass and they'd give you money back if you left early, but my guess is that was too much hassle. Last year they streamlined it and just sold one type of pass to all general campers and they still had long lines. Some of my friends just drove right in, past the kiosks, and never showed anyone their passes. Not intentionally, I mean they bought passes and all, but they were all but waved right in. Last year's plan was about as simple as you can make it (1 car needs 1 pass) but they still fucked it up. My guess is that this year they'll be under prepared, unorganized, and/or 16 years old and it will be exactly the way it's always been. In theory, yes, each person should have a ticket in order to enter camping, but my guess is excuses like "my boyfriend has my ticket, but he's already inside" will work like a charm. That is, if they even ask.

Not be a total buzz kill, but I'm not sure I like the whole "I don't have a ticket so I'm just going to show up and try to get one while camping" mentality. Having a few thousand people partying (and likely partying very hard) all day in the camp grounds because they couldn't get a ticket to the show seems like a bad idea.

It IS a bad idea, which is why they are trying to prevent that by not selling camping passes individually, and premiere only as an 'upgrade'. It's worked in the past, and in the past it has caused massive fucking problems. I wouldn't count on getting away with it this year. I really hope this new ticketing structure will keep non-festival goers OUT of the campground.

People will party (VERY hard) if thats going to be a problem, wildhorse should be the destination. If someone goes in with just a one day pass they will likely party even harder then someone who has to pull it together enough to find a ticket the next day.

I have no problem with the way people party at Sasquatch, but if you can't find a ticket on CL/ebay, don't just show up and hope for the best.

people seemed more tame at sasquatch than at bonnaroo i would say. we kind went to bed early every night last year(1:30-2am) and had no problems with people partying, sure we could hear it, but it wasnt threatening or annoying.

Especially not this year when there are a very limited # of single day tickets floating around. In years past you had 25,000 chances for a single day ticket/day. It's probably safe to say there will be 2,500 or less per day this year.
