I'd like to know a well, but reading the reviews it appears to be slightly better or at least equal to premiere camping.

Event on May 23rd 24th and 25th

Campground Gates open May 22nd to May 25th

Price: $225.00

Looks like the prices are higher @ Wild Horse for RVs and they have a 4 person occupancy restriction. Sticking with Premier.

p.s. - this price is supposed to reflect a "free" night of camping.

Does anyone know if you get on the first shuttle in the morning if you will be at or near the front of the line to get into the venue? Or, failing that do people usually walk from wild horse to the venue?

I'm wondering the same thing.

well the first wildhorse shuttle leaves for the gorge 2 hours before the music starts, so i think it's safe to say you'd be at the front of the line if you wanted to arrive that early. people that stay in the premium campground have their own separate line and get early entry, but you'd be among the first people to get through the general line. walking from wildhorse is a bit of a hike, it's 1.4 miles.

hows camping?
great. i've stayed at both places and will never camp in the gorge campground again. it's not that far away and the shuttle buses will get you there when you want to be there.

bathrooms?
porta-potties, but clean porta-potties. emptied frequently. just don't camp too close to one or you'll be hearing the doors slam on them all night.

space?
we were able to snag enough to put up a canopy and our tent. helps if you have friends with you...

showers?
there are four showers. always have been able to get hot water. shower early or late at night or bring a book or something to read while you sit in line.

after i bought my wildhorse camping pass, they decided to add on that tent trailers are in the same class as RVs and can't be used in car spots. it said nothing about tent trailers in their original FAQ (only cars and RVs) so i'm pretty pissed off. also they have a no refund policy, and the premium campsites at the gorge grounds sold out in like 2 hours. great.

Well, my party of 8 bought 2 camping spots (car, NOT RV) 2 weeks ago for $90 each. It sure pays to buy the spots early!
