I just got chills reading that description of the walk back and reliving last year after Deadmau5. It's like an endorphin-fueled zombie pilgrimage to the after-party of the year.

Did anyone else notice that the trail back to the campground after deadmau5 looked like a shimmering, glowing, yellow brick road?

I think I'm going to have to bring my mau5head for the campground parties this year.

I love that exodus picture. I was so fucked up I could hardly use the camera and I definitely could not see what I was taking a picture of through the lens. Also those mau5 dudes were awesome. I WAS HAVING THE BEST TIME. I was on my way to a party WHILE WALKING INSIDE OF A PARTY!!!!

Some people said 15-20 minutes. Some said 20-40 minutes. Part of the discrepancy may be how far into GC are you coming from. It may be 15-20 minutes from the edge of the campground. It may take an additional 15-20 minutes to get to yur campsite. Keep in mind the campground is huge!!

20 Minutes from I heart Spicy Pie to the Festival Entrance..

30 Minutes from Festival Entrance to I heart Spicy Pie.. Moooooooo

It seems like a shorter walk to the show & much longer when walking back to the campground..

That's because there are literally 15K+ walking back to camp if you stay until the end of the evening, most of them wasted. The pace is slow, and the thought process of 98% of them is slower.

On the way there, you can at least pass people, and depending on the time of the day, the crowd is little.
