Ahhhhh it was the great fire season of '07.. Where immaturity & fucked-upness ruled the land..
I had the privilege of being at both of these fires.. The great honey bucket fire was a disaster to say the least.. DMB fire was the most beautiful act of arson I've ever witnessed!

I was at Bestival on the Isle of Wight this year, and they had a giant wicker castle in the festival grounds that they turned into a giant bonfire amid a massive fireworks display on the last day. It was great.
They had tons of awesome stuff going on at the festival aside from just the music. I wish Sasquatch would take a page from their book, but I realize the Gorge is a bit limited for space.

1st Campfire @ The Gorge - July 2007
2nd Campfire @ The Gorge - September 2007
This is fucking embarrassing. If that EVER happens at Sasquatch I will seriously question ever going back.

When similar stuff went down at Woodstock '99, my friend went ape-shit and started pulling wood OFF of the fires and yelling at everyone. I thought we were gonna get our asses kicked.

I mean, YES, there is that special group of bros that party on and on and on and on at Sasquatch, but at least endless dancing in overcrowded tents with blaring music is about as bad as they are going to get.
