This will be my first year at Squatch!
I doubt it, but still wondering, are you allowed to have campfires?
Thanks!

In that environment, definitely. If it weren't it would be freakin sweat! Normally, camping just isn't camping with out some sort of fire. This is one thing Sasquatch is missing. It's a small concession for the awesome we're granted.

I was camped right next to the guys with the tiki torches, and they were spitting fire with them Friday night...all night.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some campfire. Big ones, but not with 20,000 drunk people. The idiot to non-idiot ratio has the possibility of getting too close to 1:1 or worse.

I think we agree. Every year at Sasquatch I really wish I had a fire, and at the same time am really glad that the crazies around me do not.

Garbage Can + wooden slats from the fence + gas
at least that's what our neighbours across the road did last year. I do not recommend that, of course.

There's something really fun about all of the different and creative ways people have to light their campsites. It's just acres and acres of christmas lights and lanterns. Looks like a field full of giant lightning bugs haha

Last year I hung out with a group who had brought a projector and DVD player. They played that fireplace movie and projected it onto a white sheet backdrop. Pretty cool set-up, but it was obviously not like the real thing.

ahaha sweet. There were some pretty elaborate setups out there last year. Huge enclosed canopies with full-sized beer-pong tables and christmas lights, cargo trailer dance parties, etc.
One day I'd like to fire up a canopy, some lights, and just bring out a generator and a mic/amp. Acoustic After Hours Stage.
