The complete absence of bugs is one of the little miracles of the Gorge.

Soooo Can I be safe in assuming that thursday evening will be an awesome ramble around the campsite and meet everyone fun time? I think we'll be getting there around 6pm and there are only two at our site so once we are settled we look forward to meeting some new friends.

Also is there running water at the campsite for washing up etc?

There is a spigot behind the general store. So you can bring it or go fill jugs and take it back to camp. You are basically in a big field.

And yes, Thursday night campground party is basically a stumbling drunken hoot n' holler. Throw a couple cold ones in your bag, wander off in any direction and yell the word SASQUATCH as loud as possible and you're bound to make a bunch of friends in no time. Just make sure you memorize where you are camped before you get too many tokes over the line or you'll have a long night trying to Dr. Garbanzoure out how to get home.

The plan was to make a flag but I haven't done it yet... I suppose if I bust out of work early I should have time this afternoon to fashion one. Previous festival experience dictates that flags are easier to spot than tents, although I am thinking it might just blow away.

Go to the top of the page, click on profile (or just click your username), then click Modify Profile. This page will have a spot to put a URL you would like to use.

Also, remember that it looks way different once it is dark so find more than one landmark and remember which row of Honey Buckets you are closest to.

Maybe a trail of glowstick blood? Oh god.... I am sure I'll be fine. Thankfully I have always gotten to festivals early and ended up around the edge, so you know that you'll eventually find it. Being in the middle would be super confusing.

How is the camping arranged? I think I saw a pick of a google earth image of it and it was a big circle? That could definitely get confusing.
