We saw a Mole the first year (2006). He popped his little head out of a hole in the grass, disappeared and reappeared for like 30 minutes. We were mesmerized.

What is a campground? are tents necessary? How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie-Pop? Is this a music festival? What type of music will they be playing? Is this a question? Do you know the way to San Jose? Where's the light show? Does anyone have any camping gear/equipment suggestions? Canned chicken?

Oh yay, the moles! I forgot about them! I love the moles. I bet they fucking HATE Sasquatch though.

Moles don't like dubstep, they are moles.

That's not how it works, HG. If you see an animal, you turn into the animal. Pea saw a bird so he's turning into a bird. I saw a deer so I'm turning into a deer. You saw a mole so you're soon going to be a mole.

It rains about 10" a year 'round there (25 cm). If it rains, it will most likely be of short duration. It's too early in the year for mosquitos. The only animal I'd look out for is rattlesnakes. They tend to stay away from people and give a warning rattle if you're getting to close. If you hear a rattle, stop and look down. They will slowly move into hiding as you come close to shitting yourself. That said, you probably won't run into a rattlesnake.

by the 2nd day you'll be able to feel every fucking rock on the campground roads through whatever shoes you're wearing anyway, so it doesn't really matter what you bring (unless you want to wear hiking boots all weekend)
